The Local Bar Associations
“Protecting the local attorney from you”
“Be aware of the hidden agenda of the local bar if you seek their help in settling a dispute with one of their own”
The local bar associations wish to portray an image to the public of being there to protect clients of attorneys from being wronged by a local attorney.
Those of you who have had trouble with an attorney and have gone to bar associations, already know what a fairy tale that is.
If you have not had a bad experience with an attorney as yet, consider yourself lucky. However, be aware of the hidden agenda of the local bar if you need to seek their help in settling a dispute with one of their own.
Their mission is to protect the interests of their card paying members, the attorneys. And don’t think for a minute that they will care about your rights. They’ve got attorneys to protect them from you.
In reality, the bar associations are there to cover up local problems with attorneys and direct the complaining person off to a different area.
In doing so, they avoid embarrassment and bad publicity for their local paying bar members and of course themselves, which are one and the same.
